Town law firm has a new look to its offices

-

A long-standing Hinckley solicitors has undergone a modern refurbishment giving the interior of the building a brighter and fresher feel.

Thomas Flavell and Sons have occupied a listed building on Church Walk for more than 200 years delivering legal services to generations of Hinckley people.

Staff members have said that entering the building was often compared to stepping back in time.

A spokesperson commented: “The dimmed lights and brown carpet darkened the brightest of summer days as you attended the reception from a hatch in the wall.

“As the sun shone through the window in the waiting room a midst of dust would penetrate the air as you dropped on to the cushioned benches and the decor was a contradiction to our culture and ethos.

“We are proud of our traditional values and history, this is what makes our service awardwinning; but we didn’t need to demonstrate the long-standing history in our décor.”

But thanks to a much needed refurbish- ment, the solicitors is now a far cry from its outdated self, having installed eco-friendly lighting and heating, brand new furniture, décor and flooring.

“We wanted to create the right impression from the moment you enter the building,” the firm added.

“Our aim was to create an inviting, bright and modern reception not only for our clients, but for our employees too. These changes will help move the company forward and create the right atmosphere for clients and employees and we invite you to pop by and take a look.”
