Spook-tacular fun is coming to the zoo...

-

FOR a Halloween with more roar than ever before, head to Twycross Zoo for a spook-tacular day out.

From wondrous witches to scary storytellers, there’s something for the whole family this October half term.

Discover the award-winning conservation charity like never before as it hosts it’s biggest Halloween event ever, with four brand new attractions, there’s heaps of spook-tacular fun from October 19-20 and from October 26 to November 3.

With the introduction of Twycross Zoo’s new scare scale, families and children can rest assured knowing each attraction is judged by its trusty pumpkin rating.

Grab a broomstick and get ready for some training with the wondrous witch. Listen carefully to her instructions and become a broomstick flying expert.

Little ones can even sing and dancealong with the Jack-O-Lanterns in the singing pumpkin display.

Meet the wicked witch in her immersive show and help find the ingredients to her potent potion, but be careful she doesn’t turn you into a pumpkin!

The scare fest doesn’t end there. Sit down in the witch’s coven and listen as fairytales become scary-tales and the witch vows to capture Hansel and Gretel.

Enter the Borneo Longhouse and journey through the unknown before facing your fears in the zoo’s familyfriendly mystery box scare challenge.

History books state that some lemur species were often referred to as the “ghosts of Madagascar”. Their loud calls and glowing eyes high up in the trees used to scare natives. Enter this spooky walk-through trail and look out for any glowing eyes.

When the hauntingly good fun is over, rest up and recover in the Himalaya visitor centre and enjoy a warm drink from Costa or a meal from the fully licensed View Restaurant, overlooking the snow leopard habitat, while children can monkey around in the giant indoor, spooky soft play jungle.

Most importantly, entry fee actively contributes to protecting species from threats and horrors as funding supports the conservation of the endangered species residing at the zoo.
