Cricket and sport as well as cinema staff in focus this week
We were delighted that a number of people came to the HDPP Heritage Stall a couple of weeks ago with pictures to scan. These are just a few we have selected to share with you this week.

Steve Orgill brought some super pictures of his parents who for many years worked at the Classic Cinema on Trinity Lane. His Father Fred was Chief Projectionist and his mum Edna was assistant manager. We wonder if you remember these faces from our cinema past?
Lisa Burrows brought a selection of pictures of her Morley family who had connections with The Marquis of Granby for many years before it was of course taken over by Dot and Albert Waltham in later years.
Two wonderful pictures of Argents Mead in its prime some eighty years ago were brought to us by Mr Warren. These two pictures are rare but wonderful quality showing how the Mead used to be.
A reminder that we hold our monthly scanning sessions in St Mary’s Church every third Saturday of the month 10-12pm.
