Bar set to play host to top UK comedians as they fill the house with fun
A HINCKLEY bar will welcome TV stars Scott Bennett, Matt Richardson, Kevin Daniel and Stevie Gray for the return of the Funhouse Comedy Club this month.
2021 British Comedian of the Year finalist Scott Bennett is topping the bill on Wednesday, May 25, at the Bond Street Distillery.
Scott recently made his Live at the Apollo debut and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time.
He was runner-up in the 2014 English
Comedian Of The Year competition, Best Show Nominee at Leicester Comedy Festival 2019 and has supported Michael McIntyre and Rob Brydon.
This rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery and is a Yorkshire livewire with a no-nonsense logic, who has entertained people during lockdown with his Stand Up From The Shed online show. Opening the night will be TV and radio presenter and multiaward-winning comedian Matt Richardson, who has appeared on many TV shows, including Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Matt’s observational comedy is clever and demonstrative. He delivers his “laddish” and self-deprecating tales with a twinkle in his eye.
Completing the line-up is Scottish funnyman Kevin Daniel, one of the fastest rising stars on the Midlands circuit with hilarious, relatable material proving popular at regional clubs.
Cheeky and friendly Stevie Gray will be compere for the night with his boundless energy and mix of news and comedy.
Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins at 8pm, with advanced tickets costing £13.50 and available by ringing the venue.
