Crisis in The French Centre

Marshal Jean Bernadotte withdraws his Saxons from the village of Aderklaa during the night without requesting permission from Napoleon. Bernadotte claims his troops were in a vulnerable position. When Napoleon learns of Bernadotte’s insubordinate behaviour, he scolds him.
