panish slate producer S Cupa Pizarras has extended its Thermoslate range of solar collector systems, with the Thermoslate Technical Solar Floor. The system has been designed to be installed beneath walkable surfaces such as terraces and flat roofs. The collectors can also be installed vertically for wall cladding applications.

The Thermoslate collectors are installed beneath natural slate tiles and harness the excellent solar absorption properties of slate. The system also features a modular design that makes it easily scalable and undetectable once installation is complete.

“The Thermoslate range allows homeowners to benefit from the energy saving advantages of a solar thermal installation while still retaining the high quality finish of natural slate,” says Oscar Caride, product manager at Cupa Pizarras.
