-

The couple have use reclaimed and upcycled fixtures and features throughout, including the hand-thrown bricks from the old village hall which now form their fireplace, and the cast-iron bath which was purchased from the new owner of their old house, re-enamelled and added to the master en suite.

It’s a beautiful space to wander about in: not too big and not too small; it’s warm when you want it to be but cool in the summer months. It’s a very livable space.”

“It really has surpassed our expectations,” concludes Sue, “and we’ve ended up with something we could never have dreamed of.”
