Having been in the self-build industry for more than 30 years, Pete Tonks is now recognised as a leading oak frame specialist designer due to his long-standing partnership with Oakwrights. He regularly designs around 15 private homes per year and has done so since 2003 when he left Potton to follow his dream of designing bespoke homes across the UK. Pete lives and breathes self-build and the creation of bespoke homes for his clients, and is currently also building his own family home. Pete now also runs PJT Custom Build (with his brother Dave): a project management company set up in response to client demand for enhanced services.
