In tune with the past
I was very interested to read the article in your March issue, In Tune with the Past, as my husband and I have a Blüthner piano from c1911. It came from the Leverett studio with which we are familiar – Derrick Leverett was our late brother-in-law. We bought the piano in 1962 and still love the instrument’s rich, creamy tone. Our brotherin-law renovated it again around 30 years ago. It’s still a wonderful instrument and has seen plenty of use – we are both professional musicians and have taught numerous pupils, including our own four children.
