AT YOUR SERVICE
Since the 1970s, the Rev Maurice Wright and his wife, Janet, have collected late 18th- century Caughley porcelain and are putting the entire hoard of 400 pieces up for sale with Halls on 26th April. The Caughley factory near Broseley in Shropshire specialised in blue-andwhite wares, from tea services to everyday objects. Most of Caughley’s patterns are represented and estimates range from £50– £5,000, with the collection expected to fetch £70,000 in total.
