The Bauhaus- Archiv Museum is dedicated to one of the 20th century’s most in uential schools of design, Bauhaus. With one of its three campuses based in Berlin, the Bauhaus was founded in 1919 and shut down by the Nazi regime in 1933. The school in uenced everything from product and textile design to affordable housing, and today visitors can see its avant- garde works in its archives. Until 23rd October, the museum is holding an exhibition, Thingness, by Jasper Morrison, whose work for manufactur­ers such as Alessi has made him one of the most notable British designers working today. * Thingness runs until 23rd October 2017; bauhaus.de
