MAMA SHELTER

-

This was the first hotel opened by the rebelliously cool French budget chain that’s now popping up in cities around the world. Set in Paris’s eastern Saint-Blaise quarter, it’s close to the legendary Père Lachaise cemetery. The bold interiors are by Philippe Starck and run the gamut from brooding bedrooms with chalkboard-black walls to the cheering tropical prints around the rooftop bar. Take inspiration from the reclaimed furniture dotted around the hotel before setting o for the giant Saint- Ouen flea market to bag a few pieces of your own.
