DRESS UP YOUR TECH

Televisions and media hubs are part of family life, and finding ways to house the gadgets attractively in your living room can be a challenge. Purpose-made units come in a range of styles and consist of a cabinet with open shelves, closed storage or a combination of the two. Usually, the TV stands on the top or, in the case of a flat screen, can be mounted on the wall above. Some cabinets are designed like a traditional cupboard with doors that open to reveal the screen. Choose one that blends well with other furniture in the room and is large enough to accommodate the pieces you want to store. It should be wider than the TV and hold it at the correct height so the centre of the screen is at eye level when sitting down to view it.
