BRITISH WOOL

Beauty and style, naturally.

-

T he UK has more sheep breeds than any other country in the world – over 60 different breeds cared for by more than 40,000 sheep farmers on hills and lowlands.

Richard, left, is a fourth-generation sheep farmer who grows the wool used to make a wide variety of products. When you make something, you have a choice: be cheaper or be better. We think better is more worthwhile. That’s why carpets and rugs made from British wool keep their shape, are more durable and won't end uo in landfill. We like that a lot, and so does Richard as it provides a living for him and thousands like him. Always insist on British wool – look for the crook mark.
