AUCTION HOUSES

Look out for period porcelain and pottery at dedicated ceramics and glass sales, and also as part of quarterly Fine Antiques sales held by the leading regional auction houses. Sales of note include Woolley & Wallis’s thrice-yearly English & European Ceramics and Glass sales, Lawrences’ quarterly Fine Art sales, and Lyon & Turnbull’s quarterly Fine Furniture and Works of Art sales. Bonhams is the only London salesroom to hold regular standalone sales of European ceramics, dating from the 16th to the 20th centuries.
