WITH IMPACT

Planters are easy to incorporate into any garden, whatever its size, and will quickly enhance the plants and shrubs you grow in them. If you are lucky enough to have a pair, position them either side of an entrance for symmetry; giant urns will create a stunning statement with or without anything growing in them. With the addition of drainage holes, other antique items, such as old zinc bathtubs and re buckets, can be adapted to create interesting and useful planters, as can architectural salvage such as old well heads and ceramic sinks.
