HATTON & HARDING
Jerry Harding and David Hatton tell us about the luxury lifestyle experience they’ve created at their unique interiors boutique in Warwick
What inspired you to open the shop? We started Hatton & Harding because we are passionate about beautiful interiors and love homes that are comfortable and lived in, with pieces that are treasured.
What’s on offer? Our bespoke upholstered furniture service, our own-brand scented candles and room diffusers, and framed limited-edition prints and art collection, including greetings cards. All are designed and made locally, ensuring they are unique.
What distinguishes H&H from other interiors stores? We really wanted to create a lifestyle experience – from the throw on your bed to the cup you drink your tea from. So the store is presented like a home, rather than just shelves lined with accessories. We also offer a sourcing and interior design service to complement the products. Which brands and designers influence your aesthetic? Some of the brands we stock are Andrew Martin, Zoffany, Mulberry Home, GP&J Baker, Lexington, Tori Murphy, Cowshed and Neville. In terms of a curated look or style, we love the Soho House approach to interiors.
What is your local community like? Extremely loyal and close knit. Warwick is largely made up of independent traders that the community is proud of and supports. There’s a great calendar of events, too, with an annual Victorian Evening, Folk Festival and Chocolate Festival, organised by Warwick Rocks, warwickrocks.co.uk.
Can customers buy online? Our website has recently been overhauled and offers a selection of mostly Hatton & Harding’s own collection. Hatton & Harding, 13a Old Square, Warwick CV34 4RV, 01926 408892, hattonandharding.com.
