THE LONG RUN

Full-length curtains on a pole spanning the width of the hall create a balanced, symmetrical look and, here, cover both the door and small window to help keep the heat in and the cold air out. For winter use, a door curtain made from heavy cotton or velvet, thermal lined and interlined for extra insulation, would be ideal.
