Not every kitchen has room for an island, and for those that don’t, designer Andrea Fisk of Shapeless Studio believes it’s important to have at least one worktop run without cabinets looming above. Here, she chose dark walnut cabinetry to wrap around three walls, keeping the look simple. With a cool grey background, the Fior di Bosco marble balances the rich walnut and Douglas fir flooring beautifully. →
