COUNTY TEAMS GO HEAD TO HEAD

THERE was only one point between the top two teams in BD Eastern’s Inter-County challenge, with Hertfordshire coming out on top at Keysoe (8-9 July).

The show ran from prelim to elementary level and featured two rounds.

London finished second, with Suffolk in third.

Hertfordshire’s team coordinator, Antonia De Bearn, said: “We had a wonderful mix of ages and experience, including two of the youngest competitors, 13 year-old Phoebe Turnbull and 10 year-old Isobel Morton. There was a great sense of team spirit and camaraderie.”

The winning team was trained by the ever-positive Mark Ruddock.
