FEEDING A CHAMPION
LISA MORGAN and David Knoxx’s sevenyear-old Knoxx’s Figaro, whom Amy has ridden since January 2016, is in fantastic condition now, but that hasn’t always been the case.
The Jazz x Krack C gelding, who became medium gold regional champion with Amy in August, struggled to keep condition and would tuck up badly after shows.
“Lisa had Fig treated for ulcers, and that made such a difference to his condition, comfort and way of going,” said Amy.
“Now, he is fed on TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer, a low starch conditioning feed balancer packed full of supplements; TopSpec UlsaKind Cubes, which form a gel in the stomach, reducing splashing, and slowing the rate at which the stomach empties; and TopChop Sport, an unmolassed blend of British alfalfa and British meadow grasses, which helps slow down his eating.”
“Since feeding TopSpec, Fig’s coat soon started shining; his condition is great and he has more energy for work.”
