The former medal-winning eventer, now ridden by Will Fletcher, finished third in the grade C championship at Horse of the Year Show. The 11-year-old was ridden by Kitty King to team silver and individual fourth at the 2015 European Championships.

Bettina Hoy has sold four-star eventer “Micky”.

The 11-year-old will be ridden by Bettina’s Indian student Fouaad Mirza. “Micky will stay under my care and supervision to hopefully win his new rider a medal at the Asian Games next year,” said Bettina. “I wish them the best luck in the world.”

Swiss dressage rider Elisabeth Eversfield-Koch’s grand prix horse has died aged 17. She had owned him since he was two. The pair represented Switzerland at the 2011 European Championships and secured silver at the 2012 and 2013 Swiss championships.
