LUCKY US!
Sir — Discovering that there was a British Eventing members’ marquee adjacent to the crosscountry course and car park at Blenheim Horse Trials, quite made the event — from our point of view. Not only were there TV screens, refreshments, loos and running water but also running orders within a few strides of our car, which saved the trek to and from the distant secretary’s tent.
The bean bags under the screen kept the grandchildren amused, but I must apologise to the lady who was snoozing on them when they arrived. A definite gold star to the organiser for such an imaginative innovation!
