TIME FOR CHANGE?
THE FEI has said “initial discussions” have taken place to review the rules surrounding water jumps.
“The use of Hawk-Eye technology is currently under consideration by the FEI jumping committee,” an FEI spokesman told H&H.
“Should a proposal be put forward, it would go through the correct approval process for rules changes, which are presented to the national federations for feedback before then being put forward to the FEI bureau for approval.”
She added that any change to the rule, if approved, would not be introduced until 1 January 2019.
