DUBLIN TO HOST NEW RACE FESTIVAL

-

SEVEN Grade Ones will run at a new Leopardstown race meeting next year — with €1.5m (£1.3m) prize money.

The Dublin Racing

Festival, on 3-4 February, will feature the Irish Gold

Cup and the Irish Champion Hurdle, as well as a number of Grade Two supporting races.

Jockey Ruby Walsh and trainer Willie Mullins both support the festival, which boasts a total of 15 races and should prove well timed ahead of the Cheltenham Festival in March.
