GEMMA TATTERSALL

REIGNING national champion and current FEI world ranked number two Gemma Tattersall was a member of the British squad at the 2017 European Championships and a member of the team at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games riding Quicklook V. She was fourth at Badminton this year with Arctic Soul.

TRAINING THE StARS

The most difficult horse I have to make the time on is Pamero, because he is so big and has the most enormous stride that he takes time to set up for combinations.

Arctic Soul is a strong horse but is so naturally fast that I can still make the time on him, as long as he is paying attention and listening to me.

Santiago Bay might not be full thoroughbred, but she has such an amazing length of stride, a natural ability to gallop and doesn’t pull, so I find it easy to make the time on her.
