Bobby Dazzler, was piloted by Danielle Rhodes to head both mediums before Danielle won both elementaries on Jannick. Alysia Matravers then rode Tiger Maserati, by Tiger Tim, into top place in a prelim qualifier, before the 14hh Fancy Pants, who is also sired by Bashful Bobby Dazzler, won a novice.

“It was lovely to have them out competing at the same time. I keep them all on DIY livery 25 minutes away and so visiting them twice a day takes a bit of time,” said Denise, who works as a chef.

Helen Williamson topped 72% to win a novice qualifier at Half Moon Stud on Georgia ToulsonClarke’s 10-year-old Sarolyna Equites, by Sorento.

Georgia, 18, bought the former eventer, who has been ridden by Sam Griffiths, three years ago.

“I only ride her once a week and Georgia does the work at home, but she’s beautiful to ride and I’m looking forward to seeing how far she can go,” said Helen.

Abigail Kench headed both advanced medium tests at

Bicton College, where she originally trained, on Helen West’s 15-year-old Lawrence son, Pick Pocket Chapelle.

“We’re enjoying life as his changes were a lot more secure today, and we’ve just had a compilation made by Claire Deithrick for our music tests,” said Newton Abbot-based Abigail.
