FLAMENCO’S SERENADE

The colt by Je T’aime Flamenco, out of Olympic showjumper Tinka’s Serenade, was the £32,000 top lot at Bolesworth’s elite yearling auction. He was bred by Pewit Stud’s Janette Chinn and Sue Davies.

DIEU MERCI VAN T&L

The 11-year-old Belgian sport horse, produced by Frederic Vernaet, is the new Tokyo prospect for 2008 Olympic champion Eric Lamaze. The Canadian showjumper has bought the son of Toulon with Mark and Tara Rein.

The 19-year-old former police horse has retired to Devon Horse and Pony Sanctuary following a long career with the Metropolitan Police. He served at many major events, including the Trooping of the Colour.
