THE FUTURE’S ROSY
I SO enjoyed reading “A hound called Rosebud” (25 June). For a retired primary school teacher, the potent mixture of hounds and children was an absolute joy. I cried with laughter at Rosebud’s antics but also with the sentiment of the loving bond that had formed between the Goffe girls (Ella and Iris) and the characterful Rosebud and her pups.
Surely this brilliant article has done more to promote puppy walking in a few pages than many years of hunting PR? Thank you to Hannah Goffe for telling her hound story and the photographs that spoke of happy special times for both children and hounds.
And here’s to Rosebud’s next litter.
