Kirklees Active Leisure has classes in Huddersfield, the Holme Valley and Colne Valley. Book a place at kalbookings.kirklees.gov.uk IF YOU have yet to see a panto, or want to keep the festivities going, then there are still a few seats left for mid-week performances of Huddersfield Light Opera Company’s show Dick Whittington at the Lawrence Batley Theatre.
Weekend performances have virtually sold out, but if you can make a date for Wednesday or Thursday, January 11 and 12, then there’s still availability for one of the 6.15pm shows.
The traditional family panto is written by Paul Bennett and Chris Brearley and is now in its 41st year – proof that the company has a winning formula.

Tickets are £6 to £15 from thelbt.org.uk or 01484 430528.
