During their visits to Astley Grange and Sunwood Care Home in Woodhouse Hall Road they will deliver different exercises to the residents.

The sessions encourage the residents to mobilise joints with light exercise and encourages verbal communicat­ion skills with some activities including singing of rhymes.

On February 13 at 1.30pm, suspects smashed a glass panel in the rear door of a property on Dewhurst Road to reach in and use a key from the inside to unlock the door, enter and make an untidy search. A large TV was stolen from the lounge. ■■On the same date at noon, a suspect attacked a window belonging to a property on Halifax Old Road without any success. Garden shears were then taken from the shed to gain entry via the front UPVC door and steal cash. ■■On February 17 on Topaz Close at 5.30pm, the occupant returned home to find the rear kitchen window smashed to gain entry. An untidy search was made of every room and it is unknown if any property was stolen.
