Field look to remain unbeaten against struggling rivals

“Last week’s performanc­e was very frustratin­g as we struggled to get any momentum and struggled to build up the phases,” said Lewis.

However, with a solid week of training behind them, Huddersfie­ld will be hoping to put things right with a good performanc­e in front of their home fans.

Lewis added: “Training has been good this week with the smiles back on faces as we build towards the weekend.”

Ever present fly-half, Chris Bell is an absentee, so the versatile Lewis Workman covers in the half backs.

Lewis has been impressed with Workman’s performanc­es this season and said: “He’s had an excellent season and it’s great to see a homegrown player progress the way he has done.”

The 19-year-old back row forward Harvey Keighley-Payne gets another opportunit­y with the first team after impressing on his debut last month away to Firwood Waterloo and Lewis is excited to see the youngster back in the side.

“Harvey deserves his chance and this opportunit­y shows what hard work and dedication can bring,” Lewis added.

“I’m looking forward to seeing him transfer his Falcons performanc­es into that of a National League rugby player.”

Joel Hinchliffe returns to the side this weekend, after missing the last two games.
