HE’S never normally stuck for words but superstar boxer Floyd Mayweather found himself speechless after watching a trick by Huddersfield magician Luke Lenihan.

The 18-year-old was invited to perform for Mayweather’s crew on his Undefeated tour, but found himself showing off his skills to the man himself!

The Birchencliffe illusionist, who has been practising tricks since he was 11, travelled by train to London last week where “the Money” Mayweather, who is worth $300m, was talking about his boxing career at the O2 arena.

VIP tickets for the bash were £1,000 which included a VIP meetand-greet, a personalised glove, a meal and entry to the show, which was a 45-minute interview with Floyd hosted by Sky Sports boxing pundit Johnny Nelson.

After performing some tricks backstage for Floyd’s entourage, Luke said he hung around in the VIP area until Mayweather himself appeared in the early hours of the morning and Luke took the chance to wow him.

Luke got Floyd to choose a card and hid it in the pack and with a click of his fingers, it jumped to the top. Then Floyd put the card back in the pack before fast-fingered Luke flicked the card into his outstretched hand from the middle of the pack leaving Floyd, who has never lost a boxing match, quipping about who has the fastest pair of hands!

But the part of the trick that left Floyd scratching his head was seeing his own card appear in Luke’s phone before being pulled out of the device and handed back to him.

A starstruck Luke tweeted at 3.30am last Tuesday: “At 18-yearsold one feels truly blessed to have performed for one of the greatest fighters ever @FloydMayweather thank you sir.”

He said: “It was the best feeling in the world performing for someone like Floyd.

“With him being known worldwide it was a privilege to be able to show him some of my work. It just proves that all my hard work is paying off.”

Luke didn’t get paid for his work but says it was more about the opportunity than the payday.

He added: “These events are good for opening doors for other things which could lead to more work and a video on Fight Hype Youtube channel has had more than 100,000 views!”
