Park Friends stage AGM

THE Friends of Greenhead Park held their annual general meeting last Saturday.

The event took place in the park’s community room in the cafe.

After the meeting there were tea and cakes, plus the chance for an informal chat in the park’s pavilion.

Plans for this year include a summer programme of music on the bandstand, a community art project to brighten up the lakeside arbour and improvements to the toddler play area by the top cafe.
