The race is far from over though as although they are four points clear of second placed Heywoods – both have three matches left – while third placed Holmbridge are three matches behind and may still have a say in where the shield goes.
In Division Two current top side Linthwaite were given a double boost.
Not only did they have the highest win of the day by beating Holmfirth 12-0, but their closest rivals Berry Brow lost to Lepton.
All is not lost form Brow though as they have enough matches in hand to overtake Linthwaite should they win them all.
At the other end of the table the bottom two sides met with Scissett and Cumberworth sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.
There are still enough points to play for to ensure they both avoid the drop but matches are running out.
Division Three saw Moorside close the gap on top of the table Almondbury Woolpack as they beat them 5-2.
The win moved Moorside into second place just three points behind Woolpack with two matches in hand, while 3D Dynamos replaced Moorside in third place after their 2-2 draw with fourth placed Dalton.
At the bottom, Wooldale kept their chances of survival alive with a point against Junction _ the 3-3 draw means Wooldale are only a point from safety.
In Division Four Fothergill & Whittles in first place and Dalton Dynamos in second both moved closer to promotion.
