And if Huddersfield are victorious, Rugby Nats will be there to record the fact.
Rugby Nats are a privately owned, self-funded, social media platform, whose targets are to promote Rugby Union at a grassroots level.
They go in-depth on all the clubs they feature on the show, and learning about the club’s traditions and history, is a big aspect of what they speak about on the show.
Jack Williams, who runs Rugby Nats, also hosts the show, and is passionate about Rugby at a grassroots level, after playing Rugby at a National League level in the past, wants to give back to the Rugby community on and off the field, whilst developing his own career as a sports presenter.
And Lewis is excited at the prospect of Rugby Nats visiting, after being impressed with the work they’re doing. “They have been doing some fantastic work for the game and it’ll be great to welcome them to Lockwood Park.”
They will do a preview to the game after visiting training last night and interviewing selected players.
Then on the match day, there will be more exclusive interviews, with the management team, match shots and fan footage, which will all merge together as a montage and be posted on Youtube.
Lewis knows there will be extra pressure on the day for his side to perform as they look to impress in front of the cameras.
“Obviously, there is a lot at stake for the club and hopefully we can showcase everything that is good about Huddersfield Rugby Union club.
“It’s our day in the spotlight and the team want to put in a performance to make everyone connected with the club and the town proud.”
With an average attendance of 300-400 a game this season, Lewis welcomes new faces to the club to experience the special day for the club. “The boys deserve to play in front of a big crowd and hopefully the Huddersfield public will come out in force.”
