“The Leeds defeat was more disappoint­ing than anything,” reflected Rapira.

“That was because of the amount of errors we were making and probably not giving ourselves a chance.

“If we had the ball more we would have had more opportunit­ies, so it was disappoint­ing to lose.

“We’ve been conceding a lot of penalties and making a lot of errors, but they are all things we can control.

“Obviously we’re not doing that well enough. We’re just not giving ourselves a chance, so I think we are our own worst enemies and then teams are good enough to capitalise on our errors. We need to get better.”

However, Rapira believes the team can fix this up in time for tonight’s trip to the Tigers.

“Things have been going well in training this week,” he added.

“It’s just a matter of having our own mindset, and we just need to get better in training and out on the field.

“The boys are hurting from the past few weeks so everyone’s trying incredibly hard.

“We are trying to work on things here and there, but it’s a matter of getting to the game and producing because you do try hard at training and things do go your way, but again it only
