ORANGES & LEMONS

-

BRINGING it for the older ladies we have two of our favourite fiftysomething females making an appearance in Dressed to Impress this week.

First up and looking less pretty in pink and more breathtaking in blush, is Liz Hurley. The 51-year-old actress, model and entrepreneur was appearing at The CHANCES are the last time you saw this lady she was writhing around the floor in high-cut Lycra.

Don’t tell us you don’t recognise her? It is Jennifer Beals, star of hit Eighties movie Flashdance.

She is now 53, yet has barely aged a day. Pictured at the NBC Universal TV event in New York, Jennifer was hard to miss in this somewhat garish pink and blue ensemble but, despite all that, our eyes are drawn to that jazzy clutch. What a feeling we’d get carrying that little baby. Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s 2017 Hot Pink Party in New York and appropriately opted for this oneshouldered, sweeping maxi-dress by Jovani. Wisely keeping the accessories to a minimum, Liz lets her beauty do the talking. Also posing for the cameras in NYC this week was Michelle Pfeiffer who looked the picture of elegance in a double-breasted black trouser suit and no blouse. After a lengthy period off our screens, the Scarface and Batman Returns actress was promoting Wizard of Lies in which she plays the wife of notorious US fraudster Bernie Madoff. The truth is, at 59, Michelle looks just as gorgeous as she did in her Catwoman days. HERE’S a trend to get roar-ly excited about.

Gucci has got us all falling for its lion’s head ring, top.

But if forking out £230 at gucci.com for some king of the jungle jewellery seems a little excessive for you then Asos has a similar sterling silver lion head ring, bottom, priced just £18, Asos.com
