Thanks for all sympathy over the loss of Jennifer

-

MAY I be permitted to thank the very many Examiner readers who have taken the time to contact me and my family following the sudden and sad loss of my wonderful wife of over 53 years, Jennifer Davy.

Their sympathy and support has been of enormous comfort to me and all our family at this very difficult time

We are not the first to suffer such loss and, of course, we will not be the last. However, we have been bowled over by the many hundreds of cards, letters, messages and flowers we have received.

We always knew that Jennifer was a very special person, however it is abundantly clear from the countless comments and messages of condolence we have received that she cared far more about others than herself and that she had that wonderful ability to make everyone she met feel particularly special.

We are immensely grateful for the fantastic times we had with Jennifer as wife, mum and grandma which have given us great memories to sustain us as we go forward.

Once again our sincere thanks to everyone for their sympathies and support which we have so much appreciated.

For convenience a remembrance book will be available at the John Smith’s Stadium reception for the next two weeks.

Memories and messages may also be added online at www.cooperativefuneralcare.co.uk
