‘Thelma gives new hope to save A&E’

-

THE grapes have soon turned sour for ousted MP Jason McCartney and some of his supporters in Colne Valley.

The new Labour MP Thelma Walker has given a logical explanation about the lastminute card regarding the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

Thelma and her strong group of Labour MPs in Kirklees will do all they can to stop the devastating plans of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which don’t forget was set up by Mr McCartney’s Government.

If Labour was now in power all proposals to downgrade hospitals and accident and emergency departments would be dead in the water. THANK goodness election is over.

Whilst attending the National Pensioners’ Convention in Blackpool last week I had no laptop, no TV and did not read a paper.

I managed to speak about A&E and HRI and warn conference that this would be happening all over the country if Jeremy Hunt has his way.

The Huddersfield delegates returned on Election Day as conference closed early in order to vote.

On the Wednesday Mrs May was in an artisan bread shop drinking coffee in Fleetwood with five blue rosette wearers.

My sister and I had made a brief visit as tram rides were free.

Mrs May never gave the hundreds of pensioners in Blackpool a thought - just a 10-minute visit would have improved her robotic, cowardly and disastrous campaign.
