Entries to Junior Secretary, Geoff Martin, on 07527 681325. LINDLEY BC are suffering from a lack of junior members - but are doing something about it. They have started a project with two junior schools – Lindley and Moorlands.

The schools are sending two groups of Year 6 pupils (10 and 11-year-olds) for a bowling session on a Friday afternoon (1.30 to 3.30pm). The first session last week went really well for both pupils and staff.

On Friday, July 7, they are organising a first Inter Junior School competitio­n to promote interest.

Also on a Friday (3.30 to 5pm) they have an Open Junior session. There were 10 present for the first session and it’s hoped to have more in future.
