Farrell will miss clash with Wolves

-

HUDDERSFIELD Giants Super League future could be decided tonight as Wigan Warriors take on Warrington Wolves at the DW Stadium.

A win for the Warriors would ensure that the Giants finish in the top eight and will be a Super League outfit again next term.

However, Wigan are without England international second rower Liam Farrell after he picked up a knee injury in the 32-10 win at Catalans Dragons.

Leading try-scorer Liam Marshall is recalled for a match that will mark the 400th appearance of captain Sean O’Loughlin.

Warrington second rower Ben Currie is poised to make his first appearance for 10 months after recovering from a torn anterior cruciate knee ligament and prop Mike Cooper is back after sitting out the win over Leigh.

Veteran back rower Ben Westwood starts a three-match ban.

As the Giants host Leigh tomorrow night Huddersfield’s season ticket holders will be able to ‘Bring a Buddy’.

Giants season ticket holders have two vouchers located in their booklets and can bring an adult friend for £15 or Over 65s or Under 23s for just £10.

‘Bring a Buddy’ tickets must be purchased through the John Smith’s Stadium Ticket Office.

The Ticket Office will be open today and tomorrow from 9am-5pm, and supporters can also buy tickets via the Ticket Hotline on 01484 484123. ■■The final State of Origin game ended in a 22-6 win for Queensland over New South Wales to seal a 2-1 series victory.

Queensland were inspired by a hat trick of tries from winger Valentine Holmes, a Jarrod Wallace touchdown and three Cameron Smith goals, while NSW replied with a Josh Dugan try and James Maloney goal.
