D Sheeran has launched a war on ticket touts.

His 2018 tour is sold out and tickets that are being offered for sale at greatly inflated prices on the internet will not be honoured.

He is working with the National Trading Standards Cyber Crime team to identify those obtained by nefarious means, cancelling them and putting them back on sale at normal prices.

The touts should be wary. Sheeran now has powerful friends after his guest appearance in Game of Thrones.

A word in the right ear and the armies of Westeros could sort the touts out once and for all.
