Music to the ears at Greenhead Park

A SUMMER of music is in full swing in Greenhead Park.

Once again this year musicians are taking to the bandstand to perform for visitors.

The next concert takes place on Sunday, August 13, and will feature Hade Edge Band.

This will be followed the following Saturday with a performance by Golcar Band and then Slaithwaite Band on Sunday, August 20.

Concerts start at 2pm and finish at around 4pm.

Limited seating is available but families are welcome to bring their own chair or picnic rug.

A collection at each concert will be held for the Friends of Greenhead Park.

The programme, organised by the Friends group, has been made possible by grant aid from the Huddersfield District Committee, donations and support from FoGP volunteers.
