Plea to dog walkers to clean up their pets’ poo

YEAR 1 children and staff at Moldgreen Community Primary School have been busy making posters to try to encourage dog owners to clean up their mess.

Rachel Ferdinand said: “We have got a problem with our school field because lots of people have been walking their dogs on our field and they have left dog poo on our grass. Yucky!

“We are making some posters to warn people not to leave dog poo on our grass. We would like your newspaper to tell everyone about it so they can keep our field clean and tidy for us to play safely.

“We have put our posters onto the school field now. We are hoping that the posters will stop people from allowing their dogs to poo on our school field.

“It is not nice when we have been out to do PE because our teachers have had to pick up the dog poo.”
