Girl’s short cut to help Marsh boy

-

A LITTLE girl Mayvah Kaur is having her hair cut for The Little Princess Trust and to raise funds for Cristiano Sousa, a Marsh boy battling cancer.

Mum, Karmjeet Kaur, said: “Lepton CofE school has rallied behind her as she has only ever had her hair trimmed once, years ago, so this has been a very difficult decision for her as she is so proud of her long hair!

“All the kids look fantastic with their crazy hair styles and some of the children are also wanting to get involved in charity work and raise funds for poorly children. It is vital to get children thinking about others less fortunate than they are and this has been a great way to get the children talking about what this means for someone. So far we have raised £700.”

The Trust provides wigs free of charge to children who have lost their hair due to cancer.
