Ellie nets big chance to prove she’s a footie star
A MUSLIM group aimed to dispel misconceptions about Islam when school pupils visited their mosque in Huddersfield.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim community organised for staff and pupils from Huddersfield Grammar School, Marsh, to visit the Baitus Samad mosque in Fitzwilliam Street.
Fatihul Haq, president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Huddersfield South, said: “I was impressed by the attitude of the students who were very keen to learn about Islam.
“We have been able to remove any misunderstandings that the students may have had about it.”
A brief presentation on the faith was given by local Imam Sabahat Karim.
