HUDDERSFIELD prospect Charlotte Heath helped England win the annual Under 16 Girls’ International against Switzerland.
She was in the team which recorded an impressive 5-1 result at Pannal, near Harrogate.

Manager Frank Greaves was called into action after the withdrawal of matchplay champion Chris Lander and helped Tom Calvert record a win, being 1up after nine when their opponents had to retire (so Greaves was excused from the afternoon singles).
This was after Tom Hunt and Josh Morton had won 3&1 and Matthew Colcombe and Dan Hartley had been beaten 5&4.
In the fourth match Graham McLean and Josh McAspurn were in a good battle against Jack Trewitt and Thomas Harbord (both plus one).
“The best we’ve played against” commented Macca after they had lost the 16th, halved 17 and then won with a par on the last to halve the match.
“The 16th was the only hole
