It is looking for new volunteers and also hoping to spread the message about water safety to local groups.
Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to come to the branch’s next meeting in Kirkburton, which will include a screening of the BBC documentary “Saving Lives At Sea”, and a free supper afterwards.
The group meets at the Spring Grove Tavern, Penistone Road, Kirkburton, on a bi-monthly basis.
Their next meeting is on Wednesday, September 6, commencing at 7.30pm.
