Team mobilises to establish vision plan for local villages

Lepton Link, the local community associatio­n, has voted in favour of the group and a neighbourh­ood plan for the area.

Kirkburton Parish Council has also given Lepton Vision formal approval.

When the neighbourh­ood plan is in place and developmen­t start, the Parish Council should receive 25% of the infrastruc­ture levy (tax paid by developers to the council) to be spent in the Lepton area as set out in the plan.

As most of Lepton is in the highest charging rate zone at £80 per square, additional money will be available for the Lepton and Lascelles Hall area for the future.
